Pablo Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Modesto Gipuzkoa hit a great ball. The referee ignored Asesinos Por Naturaleza's protests and gave Simão Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Asesinos Por Naturaleza made a substitution. Esteve Nerio replaced Cai Shi Sheng. Arrecifes's Hipolito Laurendi was substituted for Carlos Eufrasio. After a rather tough play, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Simão Lima got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Senon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pablo Lohitzun. That made the score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Felipe Senon sped through Asesinos Por Naturaleza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pablo Lohitzun. The Asesinos Por Naturaleza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arrecifes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
