An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried Teunens in the 14th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Juan Morata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Dorival de Azevedo in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GERLIROJO Ψ's Isidro Larra. 25 minutes into the game, Godfried Teunens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juan Morata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Morata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfried Teunens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried Teunens in the 44th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Juan Morata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 72nd minute of the match, Eliseo Iigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juan Morata saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute, Eleuterio Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Iigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Morata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When Epifanio Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the GERLIROJO Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Ibañez couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in GERLIROJO Ψ's zone, Felix Castel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Morata came out of the goal and Felix Castel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Morata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Ihintza in the 90th minute of play. Felix Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Juan Morata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Nueva. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Eliseo Iigo got a free kick in the 94th minute. La Bichineta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
