Arrecifes's Teofil Cebula managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pedro Benvido in the 3 minute of the game. Eulalio Bastian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Pedro Benvido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Ritchie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eulalio Bastian was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Eulalio Bastian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Modesto Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Gipuzkoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Eufrasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Eulalio Bastian made a huge save. After 24 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Pipis Vattimos. Waldemar Korytkowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eulalio Bastian firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Jonas Andrae got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Ritchie in the 39th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlos Eufrasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Ritchie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eulalio Bastian was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Zhu Bin Kun hit a great ball. Eulalio Bastian came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arrecifes's Cirilo Ritchie. But to his dismay, Cirilo Ritchie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Ritchie in the 59th minute of play. Arrecifes made a substitution. Hipolito Laurendi replaced Carlos Eufrasio. Arrecifes's Felipe Senon was substituted for Cirilo Ritchie. Hipolito Laurendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Mandiyu's Orlando Madureira was substituted for Domingo Martxelin. Omar Katia kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Omar Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Bastian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Senon's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Felipe Senon struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Eulalio Bastian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrecifes. Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Senon in the 85th minute of play. Arrecifes's Felipe Senon got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eulalio Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Senon in the 92nd minute of the match. Eulalio Bastian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Senon went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.
