The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Enzo Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Teunens, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Pedro Benvido with Zhu Bin Kun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 14th minute, Godfried Teunens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Bastian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 26 minutes Deportivo Mandiyu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Poncio Justo who took care of the corner kick. In the 27th minute, Godfried Teunens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Bastian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 30th minute, Enzo Bermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Salomone was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. La Bichineta's Humberto Salomone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save La Bichineta from getting a goal against them. A collision led to La Bichineta getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Arnaldo Pirmin hit a great ball. Enzo Bermudos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Humberto Salomone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfried Teunens was the one to do the kick off. Godfried Teunens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Bastian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to La Bichineta getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Godfried Teunens hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Enzo Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Iigo in the 58th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Bichineta's Vennard Rojak was substituted for Dorival de Azevedo. Eulalio Bastian came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by La Bichineta's Eliseo Iigo. But to his dismay, Eliseo Iigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Roberto Cherro replaced Zhu Bin Kun. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pedro Benvido hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Roberto Cherro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Iigo in the 86th minute of play. Eulalio Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Iigo in the 87th minute of play. Roberto Cherro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Salomone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Humberto Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Madureira in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, La Bichineta's Felix Castel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eulalio Bastian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Bichineta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
