Otsando Fierro came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonatan Eguzki could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 13th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Michal Stehno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Willian Cuesta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Unidad de Matanza from getting a goal against them. Willian Cuesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 21st minute of play. When Otsando Fierro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the ARES FC DeusDeFutbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otsando Fierro couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Grøtterud was slow to take the kick. During this time Unidad de Matanza's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Waldemar Okopny almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Willian Cuesta did a great save. After 27 played minutes ARES FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Majczyk. Martin Grøtterud took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Willian Cuesta. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsando Fierro in the 30th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsando Fierro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otsando Fierro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jonatan Eguzki made a huge save. In the 34th minute Michal Stehno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Cuesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Stehno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Cuesta having to interfere. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when ARES FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Co Rona didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Willian Cuesta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Karl-Heinz Rummenigge made the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otsando Fierro in the 55th minute of the match. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Eguzki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Felipe Muñoz was substituted for Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. The audience thought a goal was coming when Máximo Kirchner got free with Willian Cuesta in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Willian Cuesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 68th minute of play. Willian Cuesta made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Martin Grøtterud sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsando Fierro in the 71st minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unidad de Matanza's Lateef Raal was substituted for Máximo Kirchner. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Nestor Bâru replaced Martin Grøtterud. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Unidad de Matanza's Waldemar Okopny was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Willian Cuesta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Unidad de Matanza defense, Felipe Muñoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Eguzki. The Unidad de Matanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Eguzki should have stopped the shot. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Unidad de Matanza for a fine match.
