Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) AS Pikachuzim's Ronaldinho Fenomeno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ronaldinho Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute Ronaldinho Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Cafu de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliverio Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Barra Gol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 19th minute. Ronaldinho Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barra Gol having to make a save. Barra Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barra Gol came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Pikachuzim's Ronaldinho Fenomeno. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Fenomeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's Ronaldinho Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barra Gol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Wiliam Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliverio Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Ronaldinho Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Waldemar Niedziela in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AS Pikachuzim's Wiliam Furtado.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Vigil to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Barra Gol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by PEÇONHENTO FC MG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santos Rallo was slow to take the kick. During this time AS Pikachuzim's players had a chance to rest. AS Pikachuzim made a substitution. Arif Oğuz Semdin replaced Ronaldinho Fenomeno. If Luciano Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Arif Oğuz Semdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Barra Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Oğuz Semdin in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Lauro Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Fabiano Munhoz was substituted for Tony Tavares. Lauro Cearense hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Oliverio Kahn made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gabriel Delassus sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Oğuz Semdin came free, but Barra Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Cearense took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barra Gol. Barra Gol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Luciano Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barra Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Oğuz Semdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barra Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Oğuz Semdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Hélio Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélio Andrade hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
