Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronaldinho Fenomeno started the match with the kick off. Santos Rallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Ramires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Guedes having to interfere. Ronaldinho Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When AS Pikachuzim's Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S S Palestra Italia's goalie prevented a goal. Oliverio Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Tasso in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's Ronaldinho Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 18th minute of play. Jarbas Guedes came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Pikachuzim's Ronaldinho Fenomeno. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Fenomeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 28 played minutes S S Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Rony Tasso. A collision led to S S Palestra Italia getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Inácio Figueiredo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the S S Palestra Italia defense, Ronaldinho Fenomeno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarbas Guedes. The S S Palestra Italia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarbas Guedes should have stopped the shot. Oliverio Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Moura in the 42nd minute of the match. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 44th minute of the match. If Ronaldinho Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 46th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Roberto Moura to make the kick off. Nestor Bernal hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Fenomeno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarbas Guedes, 0-4. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Oğuz Semdin in the 65th minute of the match. Lauro Cearense scored 0-5 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarbas Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AS Pikachuzim booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Roano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, AS Pikachuzim's Arif Oğuz Semdin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jarbas Guedes. Jarbas Guedes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 80 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lauro Cearense. AS Pikachuzim's Arif Oğuz Semdin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 85th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 88th minute, Luciano Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Jarbas Guedes. S S Palestra Italia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Jacinto Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Luciano Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Luciano Sarmento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarbas Guedes. S S Palestra Italia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Sarmento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. AS Pikachuzim played a much better game than S S Palestra Italia and deserved their victory. The S S Palestra Italia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
