The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lex Academy's goalkeeper Tomáš Houdek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Novaes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Černoch was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Bernardo Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roman Jursa made a great header on Lex Academy's corner, it was just that ŠK Horelica's Gabriel Černoch managed to reach the ball for a save. Tomáš Houdek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ondrej Poliovka, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Ondrej Poliovka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomáš Houdek. Lex Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ondrej Poliovka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. But to his dismay, Bernardo Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lex Academy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
