Roberto Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute Milan da Freguesia F.C. were awarded a corner. Marcelinho Hermes went to the cornerflag to take it. Edinho Baresi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 9 minutes into the game, Angelo Carvalhal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AM United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milan da Freguesia F.C. the free kick. AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the AM United defense, Marcelinho Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Bastos. The AM United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Bastos should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Bastos came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Marcelinho Hermes. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Marcelinho Hermes in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AM United's goalie prevented a goal. David Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Hermes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, João Vítor Arósio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. João Vítor Arósio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Nikos Christou sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Teodoro Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Hermes in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. João Vítor Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Freire in the 56th minute of the match. AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 59th minute of play. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s João Vítor Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Christou in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. João Vítor Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Pessoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Frank Dusett. After 95 played minutes AM United got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Carvalhal. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
