With a little luck, AM United's David Bastos got control of the ball when Marcelinho Hermes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, AM United's Pierre-Olivier Ortiz got a free kick in the 10th minute. Marcelinho Hermes missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 11 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the David Bastos right hand side. In the 21st minute of the game Pierre-Olivier Ortiz made a throw-in which Angelo Pessoa played forward. Roberto Tinoco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Freire to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Milan da Freguesia F.C. booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Marcelinho Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by AM United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelinho Hermes was slow to take the kick. During this time Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. William Costa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Pessoa in the 48th minute of play forced Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelinho Hermes made a kick off. David Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Pessoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Vítor Arósio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Pessoa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 57th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Hermes in the 60th minute of the match. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Ni Xu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roberto Tinoco, made in the 65th minute of the game. If William Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AM United's Angelo Pessoa got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Marcelinho Hermes in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AM United. AM United:s David Bastos showed great skill when he stopped Marcelinho Hermes:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 85th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Arósio made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Angelo Pessoa sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Freire struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. João Vítor Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AM United. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
