In the 12th minute, Matei Gafița hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Raphael Souto in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting Clube Patrício's Paulo Assis. After some careless play in the Bizard FC defense, Binne Koppermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Fernandes. The Bizard FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Fernandes should have stopped the shot. Sporting Clube Patrício's Paulo Assis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raphael Souto, made in the 26th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Manuel Lages in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bizard FC's Luiz Fabiano Sena. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Paulo Assis hit a great ball. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute Binne Koppermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Bizard FC's Caco Damião was substituted for Luisinho Tasso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Albert Sparnaaij hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Binne Koppermann could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Ademar Fernandes however easily saved by the left post. Ademar Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Binne Koppermann sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fabiano Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademar Azevedo was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 81 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Sena made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
