An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Fulanito in the 10th minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Påk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Bujor having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match, Domingos Lencastre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valentin Bujor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when D.P.Aarburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almiro Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes D.P.Aarburg got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Bucuță. Domingos Lencastre was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Gremio Viana's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 22nd minute, Cosme Fulanito made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Fiúza. Gremio Viana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Gremio Viana's Tony Påk got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Domingos Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bujor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Gremio Viana's Mariusz Lamczyk seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mariusz Lamczyk the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gremio Viana protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mariusz Lamczyk had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 29 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Lamczyk. 32 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Fulanito came free, but Samuel Fiúza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leal Castilho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leal Castilho in the 41st minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Bujor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Cordera. Nicu Ilieș missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 45 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Samuel Fiúza right hand side.

The wind increased when Domingos Lencastre made the kick off in the second half. Tony Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Bujor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Lencastre in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, D.P.Aarburg's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Lencastre came free, but Valentin Bujor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes, Emanuel Isias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the D.P.Aarburg and the Gremio Viana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentin Bujor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Lencastre in the 59th minute of the match. Valentin Bujor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Lencastre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Peralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Fulanito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Fiúza having to make a save. Samuel Fiúza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Fulanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Peralta in the 92nd minute of play. D.P.Aarburg were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Gremio Viana's much stronger midfield.
