Marcelinho Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelinho Hermes. Agnaldo Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Milan da Freguesia F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Figueiredo hit a great ball. João Vítor Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Aiach, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Olímpico FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Marcelinho Hermes scored to the left of an out of position Geovânio Hoffmann, making the score, 1-0. Geovânio Hoffmann had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcelinho Hermes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball A sloppy throw-in by Alan Galvão in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Samuel Silviano. Marcelinho Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Marcelinho Hermes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovânio Hoffmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geovânio Hoffmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelinho Hermes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Marcelinho Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelinho Hermes to make the kick off. Geovânio Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Marcelinho Hermes. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Marcelinho Hermes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovânio Hoffmann was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Geovânio Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio Hoffmann. Olímpico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelinho Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 68 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Hermes came free, but Geovânio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Marcelinho Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 72nd minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Hermes took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovânio Hoffmann. Geovânio Hoffmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Samuel Silviano hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Geovânio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Hermes in the 88th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olímpico FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Milan da Freguesia F.C..
