But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Kaczanka couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Alex Frasca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelinho Hermes. If Raimundo Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Milan da Freguesia F.C. booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca got control of the ball when Marcelinho Hermes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 minutes, Marcelinho Hermes made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 45th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Alex Frasca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Alex Frasca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Frasca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Hermes in the 57th minute of the match. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Samuel Silviano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aloísio Garcez in the 61 minute of the game. Aloísio Garcez's late challenge caught a Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Marcelinho Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Frasca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fábio Lobato kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Torcato Rebocho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. João Vítor Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, Marcelinho Hermes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Milan da Freguesia F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
