The crowd rose to their feet as Ştefan Magheran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Bastos. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Frits van Gaal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but David Bastos made a huge save. David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Magheran in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frits van Gaal made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ştefan Magheran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Pessoa got free with Vassilis Nentakis in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute of the match AM United got a corner. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Morais ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Roberto Tinoco at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of S.E. Pindorama Eagles. 2-1. Teodoro Freire was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
