Edvaldo Brasil had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cai Yuan Yuan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 16 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Carneiro came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SAS's Edvaldo Brasil got control of the ball when Cai Yuan Yuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 minutes SAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aras Görkem Kaymaz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led MZ Fénix's Lázaro Ramalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Edvaldo Brasil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd minute MZ Fénix were awarded a corner. Aras Görkem Kaymaz went to the cornerflag to take it. Aras Görkem Kaymaz made a great header on MZ Fénix's corner, it was just that SAS's Edvaldo Brasil managed to reach the ball for a save. Sandrinho Valle hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute MZ Fénix were awarded a corner. Aras Görkem Kaymaz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lázaro Ramalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edvaldo Brasil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Aras Görkem Kaymaz was slow to take the kick. During this time MZ Fénix's players had a chance to rest. Edvaldo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cai Yuan Yuan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 41st playminute. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cai Yuan Yuan was the one to do the kick off. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Sandrinho Valle with Luiz Guilherme Paraense as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 56th minute of play. Edvaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of SAS booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Vladimiro Granja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Cai Yuan Yuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edvaldo Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cai Yuan Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAS and the MZ Fénix players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. SAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Yuan Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. SAS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
