The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doriva Jacinto in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabrício Brunovskis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Jacinto in the 12th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Yuri Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doriva Jacinto went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Fabrício Brunovskis got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes of play, BRASIL.Sp's Doriva Jacinto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Al-Fajuth's Zézinho Dracena threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Capixaba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Capixaba was the one to do the kick off. Marcinho Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuri Quirino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcinho Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. Yuri Quirino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laerte de Lima showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Akiba Teben got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Matorin to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Wilson Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nestor Gonzáles came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the BRASIL.Sp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Gonzáles couldn't finish the play. BRASIL.Sp made a substitution. Eliézer Lucas replaced Doriva Jacinto. Yuri Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Eliézer Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Dracena came out of the goal and Sandro Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Bono Vox took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yuri Quirino. Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Al-Fajuth's Yuri Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Fajuth from getting a goal against them. Eliézer Lucas in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yuri Quirino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zézinho Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Maciel in the 95th minute of play. The Al-Fajuth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BRASIL.Sp were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
