Edvaldo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Bergdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Niklas Bergdal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres got control of the ball when Olívio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cauan Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Brasil having to interfere. Edvaldo Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauan Loyola's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Baggio in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Salles in the 19th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Baggio came free, but Edvaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Glauco Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAS's protests and gave Glauco Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Edgar Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cauan Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Edvaldo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes in the game, Cauan Loyola dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Edvaldo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agostinho Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's Edward Huyghebaert was substituted for Cauan Loyola. 64 minutes into the game, one of SAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
