Armindo Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Scarlet Speedster got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jens-Ove Eriksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jens-Ove Eriksson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado did a great save. Naldo Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shao Kun Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Fausto Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Armindo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the game, Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ekialde Nadal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
