In the 17thth minute of the game Roch Felenak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Gianluigi Donnarumma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Sydney Quirino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jolan Galindo. Sydney Quirino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. La Pointe Courte's Jelle Ceustermans managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gustavo Gómez in the 33 minute of the game. A collision led to La Pointe Courte getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jelle Ceustermans hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Gianluca Prestin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The La Pointe Courte supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Pointe Courte would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
