In the 11th minute, Adrián Espadas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diogo Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Adrián Espadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Costa having to interfere. With a little luck, Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak got control of the ball when Francisco Conceicão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Cossa in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Christian Gagriel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ruslan Tikhonov came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Alexandrie CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruslan Tikhonov couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Alexandrie CF were awarded a corner. Ruslan Tikhonov went to the cornerflag to take it. Alexandrie CF's Ruslan Tikhonov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitaliy Vischak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Diogo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 34th minute of play. Lisandro Beltxe hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ruslan Tikhonov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Diogo Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Francisco Conceicão hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Adrián Espadas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Diogo Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Espadas's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Alexandrie CF got a freekick which was hit by Jose Balvín.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Conceicão made a kick off. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Francisco Conceicão hit a great ball. In the 52nd match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Vitaliy Vischak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Conceicão's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Godofredo Quilino replaced Christian Gagriel. 59 minutes into the game, Fidel Domenech threw the ball into play from the sideline. Soroca F.C.'s Natalio Mazuste quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Necula in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandrie CF's Şehzade Özgur was substituted for Silvestre Perrando. The corner led to Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Diogo Costa was a little too slow when Răzvan Necula got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-3. Diogo Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Diogo Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Necula in the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Alexandrie CF defense, Răzvan Necula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diogo Costa. The Alexandrie CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogo Costa should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Zézinho Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 96th minute of play forced Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Diogo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soroca F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
