The crowd rose to their feet as Dalmo Motta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giuseppe Silveira. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Salelles's Giuseppe Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhivko Húntev in the 13th minute of play. Salelles's Giuseppe Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Salelles from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilgaz Aydoğan in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Silveira saved Salelles from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

One of Facopo FBPA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salelles:s goal. Giuseppe Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhivko Húntev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salelles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhivko Húntev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txema Torres in the 98th minute of play. Facopo FBPA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
