Eliseu Bragança was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Bertoni came free, but Eliseu Bragança reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Afonso da Cunha put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eliseu Bragança. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 25th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ booed when Campus Douro Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Idalécio Rebelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Bragança stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Vedat Burçhan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ludomil Ziomkowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Pankracy Gozdowski got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Afonso da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Eliseu Bragança took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xande Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Ulryk Huk made a precise shot to the right of Eliseu Bragança. Campus Douro Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Eliseu Bragança showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 65th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Breno Torres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseu Bragança. That made the score 1-6 after 91 minutes of play. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
