Miguel Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Vilaça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Pedroso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Vilaça went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Bernardo Leiria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valério Vilaça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Bernardo Leiria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerónimo Leiria's shot from short distance in the 58th minute.
