Ionel Bălăiță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Bragança read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Campus Douro Academy's attentive Idalécio Rebelo managed to snatch the ball when Bento Candal made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Campus Douro Academy's Idalécio Rebelo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Castelo Branco in the 39 minute of the game. Eliseu Bragança made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eder Lopes in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vedat Burçhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Cunha was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.
