In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Richard Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Duarte Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Mendonça in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Duarte saved CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land from getting behind. Eduardo Baiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rambo Duarte in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Jorginho Valle got a free kick in the 11th minute. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Souto in the 16th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Eduardo Baiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 18th minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Aquiles Duarte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 21st minute of play. Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radul Tishev in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Mendonça came free, but Duarte Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Gala from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Duarte came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Souto in the 37th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Edgar Souto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte. Duarte Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th match minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Quadros to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Biörkquist hit a great ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heinz Stalder to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Yuri Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Gala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land the free kick. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Yuri Valadares hit a great ball. Eduardo Baiano came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Rambo Duarte. But to his dismay, Rambo Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's Richard Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richard Mendonça's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Duarte Duarte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Richard Mendonça had several of the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Duarte Duarte as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eduardo Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Golo Duarte went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heinz Stalder in the 81st minute of play. Aquiles Duarte struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Eduardo Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land. Eduardo Baiano came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Pablo Vegetti. But to his dismay, Pablo Vegetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heinz Stalder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Diego Quadros hit a great ball. Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Duarte in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
