Palermo's Alfredo Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Sazon made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Sazon in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Joey saved Palermo from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Mino in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Millan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Isaias Sazon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Joey was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Palermo made a substitution. Marcelino Chaime replaced Carolo Rozarius. In the 65th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Grove to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Crouch came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Silvio Millan got control of the ball when Marcelino Chaime tried to sneak it across the goal line.
