Camilo Salvidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miran Moco in the 9th minute. Martin Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armando Roland was slow to take the kick. During this time Menchu FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Menchu FC's Armando Roland to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Leheren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Silverio Sergi got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Thibault Moon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Luz y Fuerza reached it. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Martin Leheren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 29th minute of the match. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Casciano in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdoulay Doucouré didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Casciano in the 38th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miran Moco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Camilo Salvidor made a huge save. Martin Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Deportivo Luz y Fuerza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriele Batistuta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Martin Leheren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Luz y Fuerza from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Martin Leheren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriele Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menchu FC's Arturo Roderigo was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. Menchu FC's Gaston Firmo was substituted for Uriel Gorri. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Casciano in the 72nd minute of play. Martin Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 minutes Menchu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thibault Moon who took care of the corner kick. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Casciano in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Salvidor came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Jonas Tingelholm. But to his dismay, Jonas Tingelholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 93 played minutes Deportivo Luz y Fuerza got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Tingelholm. In the 96th minute Abdoulay Doucouré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza had won after a very even match.
