Aku Ylönen started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Uriel Gorri could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Fausto Nisio however easily saved by the left post. If Uriel Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fausto Nisio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fausto Nisio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriele Batistuta went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the game, Gabriele Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fausto Nisio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriele Batistuta scored 3-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Nisio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, phoinix fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Fausto Nisio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Nisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Menchu FC got a corner. phoinix fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Roland ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 24 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Nisio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to phoinix fc getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Anier Behe hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fausto Nisio. Fausto Nisio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Nisio having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 33rd minute of play forced phoinix fc's goalkeeper Fausto Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Gabriele Batistuta notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of phoinix fc's Fausto Nisio. Fausto Nisio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Nisio was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

Roberto Carlo's late challenge caught a phoinix fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Carlo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Carlo to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Gabriele Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Nisio. phoinix fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Fausto Nisio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriele Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After taking down the ball on Menchu FC's corner Roberto Carlo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fausto Nisio quite easily take care of the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Roberto Carlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Fausto Nisio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Nisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 64th minute of the match. Uriel Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menchu FC's Arturo Roderigo was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Nisio having to make a save. Fausto Nisio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 76th minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Nisio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Menchu FC's Junior Savaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Nisio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0.
