The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Albano Hever got control of the ball when Carmelo Musko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Tevez in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s goalkeeper Albano Hever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Musko. Ingmar Hellkvist hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Tevez in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmelo Musko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albano Hever. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Carlos Tevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás DAndrea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 43 minutes, Serafim Catranides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Ángel Gris and the ⛥Milrayitas⛤ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Serafim Catranides hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Tevez came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match ⛥Milrayitas⛤ got a corner. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matias Mugica ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Matias Mugica got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicolás DAndrea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafim Catranides was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Hylen got free with Nicolás DAndrea in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Carlos Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Serafim Catranides made a precise shot to the right of Albano Hever. ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Carlos Tevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás DAndrea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Bernardino Luar was substituted for Norberto Cuartio. The supporters of ⛥Milrayitas⛤ booed when Defensores del Ángel Gris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederick Toeback didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Carlos Tevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Tevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolás DAndrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Defensores del Ángel Gris's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Carlos Tevez scored to the left of an out of position Nicolás DAndrea, making the score, 2-1. Carlos Tevez struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nicolás DAndrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ⛥Milrayitas⛤. In the 78th minute, ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s Carlos Tevez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicolás DAndrea. Nicolás DAndrea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 81 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Tevez came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Tevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás DAndrea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolás DAndrea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Carlos Tevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⛥Milrayitas⛤'s supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Tevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolás DAndrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
