Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Cordareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Forros Fantásticos AC made a substitution. Octavio Marcones replaced Santiago Sidro. After 69 minutes Forros Fantásticos AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Prosperi who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner Miguel Prosperi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robustiano Cordareo quite easily take care of the ball. Miguel Prosperi made a great header on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner, it was just that Forros Fantásticos AC's Robustiano Cordareo managed to reach the ball for a save. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
