Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elpidio Francis started the match with the kick off. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Vladimirescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes Riesgo Cero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Prosperi who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner Miguel Prosperi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Vladimirescu quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when 庄潮宽 came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Vladimirescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Francis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristian Vladimirescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Vladimirescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Cristian Vladimirescu made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Elpidio Francis sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Silvestre Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Riesgo Cero fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Riesgo Cero's 庄潮宽 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute, Elpidio Francis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 36 minutes on the clock, Donato Odilon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Riesgo Cero:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA:s goal. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Biskupiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute of the match ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a corner. Riesgo Cero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Prosperi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Riesgo Cero were winning 0-1.

Riesgo Cero's Kubilay İmge was substituted for Lech Biskupiak. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Damario to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Elpidio Francis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 69th minute of play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Arnaldo Gabon was substituted for Miguel Prosperi. It was a well-played corner which Esteban Iztal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kubilay İmge, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Vladimirescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 81st minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Vladimirescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Riesgo Cero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Riesgo Cero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
