Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 28th minute of play. Cirilo Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elpidio Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franco Benvenuto to strike the kick off in the second half. Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Hurmuz in the 51st minute of play. Izydor Karbowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan made a huge save.
