Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Baciadonne, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Biagio Baciadonne kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jonas Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Savenije made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilles Clerc in the 27th minute. Zelg FC's Jonas Herz got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irwin Monney in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Savenije saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jonas Herz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Savenije showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Herz in the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Savenije saved Gonzo Style f.c from getting behind. Gilles Clerc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucas Savenije came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilles Clerc slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuele Bertoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Savenije didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilles Clerc went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jonas Herz sped through Gonzo Style f.c's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Savenije. After 61 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Baciadonne. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Herz in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Savenije prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the game, Gilles Clerc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lucas Savenije was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Gilles Clerc came free, but Lucas Savenije reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jonas Herz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Savenije was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 69 minutes Gonzo Style f.c's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albain Furst who took care of the corner kick. Zelg FC's Stephan Eichenberger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucas Savenije in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Gonzo Style f.c:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zelg FC:s goal. Lucas Savenije had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Gilles Clerc's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76th minute, Gilles Clerc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Savenije was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When Zelg FC's Jonas Herz in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gonzo Style f.c's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Lucas Savenije, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Savenije stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Herz's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When Zelg FC's Jonas Herz in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gonzo Style f.c's goalie prevented a goal. Jonas Herz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lucas Savenije tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play, Zelg FC's Gilles Clerc made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Savenije was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 98 minutes, Jonas Herz made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gonzo Style f.c's Lucas Savenije tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gonzo Style f.c players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zelg FC.
