Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Samurai getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Maxim Tsigalko hit a great ball. Samurai's Vince Di Cola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Gomes in the 6th minute of play. João Pedro Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 8th minute. Samurai's Abram Cadabra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emílio Santana in the 9 minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, FRIENDS CITY's goalkeeper João Pedro Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxim Tsigalko. 20 minutes into the match, FRIENDS CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but João Pedro Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FRIENDS CITY's João Pedro Guedes got control of the ball when Maxim Tsigalko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind FRIENDS CITY's goalkeeper João Pedro Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 played minutes FRIENDS CITY got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Saldanha. In the 43rd minute, Maxim Tsigalko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxim Tsigalko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FRIENDS CITY's João Pedro Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the FRIENDS CITY defense, Maxim Tsigalko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Pedro Guedes. The FRIENDS CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Pedro Guedes should have stopped the shot. Samurai's Timmy Henriksson was substituted for Wu Qi. Samurai's Åke Hamnberg was substituted for Hernán Grana. Maxim Tsigalko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Pedro Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Tsigalko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Bivall to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Henriksson in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Tsigalko in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro Guedes saved FRIENDS CITY from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Timmy Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Pedro Guedes came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko. But to his dismay, Maxim Tsigalko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Tsigalko in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Pedro Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the FRIENDS CITY defense, Maxim Tsigalko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Pedro Guedes. The FRIENDS CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Pedro Guedes should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Tsigalko in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro Guedes saved FRIENDS CITY from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the FRIENDS CITY players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Samurai.
