When Maksim Dunaevskiy, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 4 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Latif Al Fakir was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Hagi in the 7th minute of play forced Geo-Winner's goalkeeper Gleb Stroganov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Grigoriy Kudryavtsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute of the match Galatasaray SK got a corner. Geo-Winner's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valeriy Chernetsov ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Galatasaray SK's corner Cristiano Hagi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gleb Stroganov quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Cristiano Hagi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gleb Stroganov. After 16 minutes of play, Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gleb Stroganov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Latif Al Fakir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maksim Dunaevskiy's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. A collision led to Geo-Winner getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mateusz Bochinski hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, one of Geo-Winner:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Geo-Winner. Gleb Stroganov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Hagi in the 34th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Jorge-Luis Borges fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Målare made a kick off. Anders Målare struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Gleb Stroganov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray SK. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge-Luis Borges during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Geo-Winner got a freekick which was hit by Jorge-Luis Borges. In the 62nd minute, Valeriy Chernetsov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veniamin Gorshkov hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Anders Målare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Anders Målare got a free kick in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maksim Dunaevskiy in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Latif Al Fakir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Geo-Winner getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Veniamin Gorshkov hit a great ball. Klim Rebrovskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Anders Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gleb Stroganov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maksim Dunaevskiy struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Latif Al Fakir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geo-Winner. With a little luck, Geo-Winner's Gleb Stroganov got control of the ball when Cristiano Hagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Grigoriy Kudryavtsev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geo-Winner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoriy Kudryavtsev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galatasaray SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
