In the 2nd minute, Anders Målare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 4th match minute, Galatasaray SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksey Martynov to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Erubiel Sarracino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Latif Al Fakir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristiano Hagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Latif Al Fakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Sarracino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Sarracino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristiano Hagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikita Akulovich made a kick off. Cristiano Hagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Erubiel Sarracino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Latif Al Fakir was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Galatasaray SK were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Добрыня's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valeriy Chernetsov took the corner. Emil Potapov replaced Artem Zakharov. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Dubinskiy during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Добрыня supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Добрыня would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
