Latif Al Fakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksim Dunaevskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Maksim Dunaevskiy came free, but Latif Al Fakir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Hagi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Hagi in the 23rd minute of play forced Geo-Winner's goalkeeper Gleb Stroganov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gleb Stroganov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Hagi in the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Geo-Winner's Maksim Dunaevskiy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Latif Al Fakir was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geo-Winner's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Geo-Winner getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Grigoriy Kudryavtsev hit a great ball. Yiğit Özdoğru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gleb Stroganov made a huge save. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Geo-Winner's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valeriy Chernetsov was slow to take the kick. During this time Galatasaray SK's players had a chance to rest. Galatasaray SK's Valeriy Chernetsov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gleb Stroganov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Geo-Winner were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maksim Dunaevskiy was the one to do the kick off. Gleb Stroganov came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi. But to his dismay, Cristiano Hagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 59th minute, Yiğit Özdoğru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gleb Stroganov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Mateusz Bochinski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes of play, Galatasaray SK's Anders Målare made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gleb Stroganov was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Galatasaray SK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Valeriy Chernetsov hit a great ball. Gleb Stroganov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Galatasaray SK's Latif Al Fakir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray SK from getting a goal against them. Gleb Stroganov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Hagi in the 79th minute of play. If Maksim Dunaevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladislav Davydov kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Maksim Dunaevskiy came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Geo-Winner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maksim Dunaevskiy couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maksim Dunaevskiy in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Latif Al Fakir saved Galatasaray SK from getting behind. Jorge-Luis Borges's late challenge caught a Galatasaray SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge-Luis Borges helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge-Luis Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Mikhail Bertovskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Maksim Dunaevskiy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Latif Al Fakir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maksim Dunaevskiy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Latif Al Fakir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galatasaray SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Geo-Winner had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
