With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Palermo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heigo Mustkivi saved Tapa Athlétic™ from getting behind. Heigo Mustkivi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Heigo Mustkivi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Palermo in the 24th minute of play. Ruben Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 26th minute of the match. Magic is Back's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Palermo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heigo Mustkivi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Palermo in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tapa Athlétic™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Trobbiani was slow to take the kick. During this time Magic is Back's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marcelo Trobbiani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Heigo Mustkivi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Martin Palermo scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heigo Mustkivi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Vahur Nirk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalju Palk in the 46th minute of play forced Magic is Back's goalkeeper Ruben Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magic is Back's Ruben Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Martin Palermo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Martin Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magic is Back's Claudio Marangoni was substituted for Marcelo Trobbiani. Magic is Back's Rubén-Darío Feldmann was substituted for Luis Medero. Magic is Back's Osvaldo Potente was substituted for Martin Palermo. Magic is Back's Ruben Sánchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Magic is Back from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Potente came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Tapa Athlétic™ got a freekick which was hit by 武 太史慈. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapa Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Heigo Mustkivi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Sebastián Battaglia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi didn't even have to move. The Magic is Back players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
