Ruben Sánchez came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆'s Menderes Özdoa. Martin Palermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Necdet Has. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Palermo in the 38th minute of play forced ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆'s goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Has to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Martin Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Palermo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Necdet Has. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Palermo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Necdet Has showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
