Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalju Palk in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rd minute Kalju Palk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fynn John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Rakke scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fynn John, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Fynn John had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalju Palk. Gheorghiţă Hagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Fynn John made a huge save. After 20 minutes of play, Tapa Athlétic™'s Vahur Nirk made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fynn John was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Vahur Nirk notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John. Fynn John was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute Mugurel Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fynn John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Mugurel Chiriloaie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tapa Athlétic™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Flávio Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heigo Mustkivi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 32nd minute of play forced Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Fynn John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fynn John didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Mugurel Chiriloaie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fynn John. That made the score 6-0 in the 40 minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Fynn John had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gheorghiţă Hagi. In the 44th minute Kalju Palk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fynn John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The wind increased when Olívio França made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mugurel Chiriloaie notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John. Fynn John was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th minute, Vahur Nirk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fynn John was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Fynn John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghiţă Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, Atlético Mineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Friberger to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 武 太史慈 in the 68th minute of play forced Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Fynn John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fynn John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Tomé Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Fynn John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 73rd minute of the match. Fynn John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tapa Athlétic™ fully deserved thier win.
