Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şinasi Derem in the 12th minute of play. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Bernardo Sasso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Korkut Koçyiğit, made in the 14th minute of the game. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şinasi Derem in the 21st minute of play. Batıkan Muhsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uğur Erkovich in the 27th minute of the match. Raşit Özdilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 29th minute of the match. Atilla Açıkalın blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raşit Özdilek having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilla Açıkalın couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 87th minute Wiktor Napierkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan Muhsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasper Häll scored 1-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raşit Özdilek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Kasper Häll's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raşit Özdilek was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC were victorious despite being under pressure from FC juveMET for much of the match.
