Lions United's Pan Jian Yong got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Lions United's Geert-Jan Coomans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Numan Ünalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind CİMBOM FC's goalkeeper Ali Numan Ünalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pan Jian Yong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ali Numan Ünalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Jian Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by CİMBOM FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gao Cheng Yun was slow to take the kick. During this time Lions United's players had a chance to rest. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pan Jian Yong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Taha Yesari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Numan Ünalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by CİMBOM FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gao Cheng Yun was slow to take the kick. During this time Lions United's players had a chance to rest. Lions United's Gonçalo Fontoura was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ali Numan Ünalp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th minute, Pan Jian Yong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Pan Jian Yong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taha Yesari made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bedih Saye however managed to control. Pan Jian Yong might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Numan Ünalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pan Jian Yong ran back to his position shaking his head. Pan Jian Yong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Numan Ünalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pan Jian Yong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Numan Ünalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 89th minute of the match. If Geert-Jan Coomans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Numan Ünalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 95th minute of the match. Lions United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
