The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, CİMBOM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Lampa came free, but Ali Numan Ünalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Navigators's Hakan Işık to fire away a dangerous shot which Ali Numan Ünalp despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zikri Eygül made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Navigators's Cai Shi Feng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Numan Ünalp. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. Navigators made a substitution. Derviş Erva replaced Zeynel Üke. Ali Numan Ünalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakan Işık in the 61st minute. In the 89th minute Ahmet Malik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Numan Ünalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zikri Eygül fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CİMBOM FC's protests and gave Zikri Eygül a yellow card for diving instead. Zikri Eygül kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The CİMBOM FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Navigators were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
