The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gürsel Bahçıvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the AsLaN 1915 defense, Rodolfo Atarrabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gürsel Bahçıvan. The AsLaN 1915 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürsel Bahçıvan should have stopped the shot. Roy Brummer kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gürsel Bahçıvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 27th minute of the match. Gürsel Bahçıvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Rodolfo Atarrabi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gürsel Bahçıvan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32ndth minute of the game Adrián Espadas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AsLaN 1915's Gürsel Bahçıvan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes, Adrián Espadas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. AsLaN 1915's Gürsel Bahçıvan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrián Espadas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gürsel Bahçıvan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soroca F.C.. 42 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Edström came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AsLaN 1915's Gürsel Bahçıvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 46th minute of play. The AsLaN 1915 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Soroca F.C. were winning 0-3.

AsLaN 1915's Emirşah Tolgahan was substituted for Rahmi Gariboğlu. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Rodolfo Atarrabi. Gürsel Bahçıvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Necula in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes in the game Tadeu Arruda did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to René Henriksen. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by AsLaN 1915's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zézinho Neiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 74th minute, Răzvan Necula made a precise shot to the right of Gürsel Bahçıvan. AsLaN 1915's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when AsLaN 1915 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soroca F.C. played a much better game than AsLaN 1915 and deserved their victory. The AsLaN 1915 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
