Edvaldo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Messi in the 21st minute of the match. Edvaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Three Lions FC were awarded a corner. George Lukaku went to the cornerflag to take it. George Messi made a great header on Three Lions FC's corner, it was just that SAS's Edvaldo Brasil managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in SAS's zone, Gunnar Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal and Gunnar Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Guilherme Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Ekeroth in the 40th minute of play. Júlio Saraiva's late challenge caught a Three Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, SAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match George Lukaku shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvaldo Brasil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when George Messi made the kick off in the second half. George Messi in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edvaldo Brasil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edvaldo Brasil made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when George Messi sent off a good shot on target. After 54 minutes SAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was George Lukaku who took care of the corner kick. George Lukaku made a great header on Three Lions FC's corner, it was just that SAS's Edvaldo Brasil managed to reach the ball for a save. Edvaldo Brasil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but George Messi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Messi in the 76th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Ekeroth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edvaldo Brasil came out and tried to block the shot, but Gunnar Ekeroth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Messi in the 81st minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George De Bruyne hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, George Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Three Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but George Messi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnar Ekeroth struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Edvaldo Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Three Lions FC. Gunnar Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Edvaldo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Three Lions FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
