Jefferson de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rony Rüşti's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Christiano Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Rüşti in the 16th minute of play forced Araçá F. C.'s goalkeeper Jefferson de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Araçá F. C.'s Oswaldo Maciel got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christiano Barreto in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefferson de Moraes saved Araçá F. C. from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Araçá F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Javier Abalos. Hílton Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute Christiano Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson de Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Araçá F. C.'s Angelo Luz got a free kick in the 41st minute. Rony Rüşti scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joélson de Sousa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leandro Custódio came out and tried to block the shot, but Joélson de Sousa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilmar Vieira to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Hílton Britto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Araçá F. C. from getting a goal against them. Hílton Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson de Moraes having to interfere. Rony Rüşti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson de Moraes having to interfere. Jefferson de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Rüşti in the 63rd minute of the match. Joélson de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Araçá F. C.'s Paulo José de Andrade was substituted for Leonel Leão. A collision led to Araçá F. C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Joélson de Sousa hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Rony Rüşti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Jefferson de Moraes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Christiano Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson de Moraes was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Joélson de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Rüşti in the 84th minute of play. Jefferson de Moraes came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Leões do Sul 53's Rony Rüşti. But to his dismay, Rony Rüşti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Leões do Sul 53 played a much better game than Araçá F. C. and deserved their victory. The Araçá F. C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
