Jefferson de Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Matoš in the 5th minute. André Matoš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Breckenfeld made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paulo José de Andrade immediately put the ball in play. Família Ressaca MZ's André Matoš got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Matoš in the 25th minute of play forced Araçá F. C.'s goalkeeper Jefferson de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Matoš took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson de Moraes. Jefferson de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Geovanni Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jefferson de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Matoš in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's André Matoš sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jefferson de Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Araçá F. C. defense, André Matoš kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson de Moraes. The Araçá F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson de Moraes should have stopped the shot. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Araçá F. C. from getting a goal against them. Jefferson de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Matoš in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilmar Vieira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ronaldinho do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Família Ressaca MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho do Vale couldn't finish the play. If André Matoš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jefferson de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Matoš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Matoš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson de Moraes having to interfere. Ronaldinho do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Família Ressaca MZ booed when Araçá F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, André Matoš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Matoš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Araçá F. C. made a substitution. Manfredo Pinheiro replaced Nilmar Vieira. Ronaldinho do Vale scored 4-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jefferson de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Matoš in the 86th minute of the match. Família Ressaca MZ were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Araçá F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eloy Soto took the corner. André Matoš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson de Moraes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ronaldinho do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute of the game João Breckenfeld made a throw-in which Paulo José de Andrade played forward. After a rather tough play, Araçá F. C.'s Paulo José de Andrade got a free kick in the 94th minute.
