Kraig Sandoval kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19th play minutes Aníbal Alagoano shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Leandro Custódio and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Custódio was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Leandro Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Barreto in the 38th minute of play. When Leões do Sul 53's Rony Rüşti in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jenipapo SC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Aníbal Alagoano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Custódio. Vinicio Junior struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Leandro Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jenipapo SC. In the 47th minute, Maurício Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aníbal Alagoano made a kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Vinicio Junior sped through Leões do Sul 53's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leandro Custódio. In the 61st minute, Leões do Sul 53's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ricardinho Pena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Aníbal Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jenipapo SC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Leões do Sul 53's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardinho Pena took the corner. Ricardinho Pena made a great header on Jenipapo SC's corner, it was just that Leões do Sul 53's Leandro Custódio managed to reach the ball for a save. Rony Rüşti kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 0-7 became the score in the 75th minute when Vinicio Junior elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
