After some careless play in the Dark Prophets defense, Daniele De Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Argi. The Dark Prophets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Argi should have stopped the shot. Champions Iasi's Ferdinand Joldea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Trifan in the 9th minute of play. Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kian Natanael in the 14th minute of play. Champions Iasi's Ferdinand Joldea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Ping Yi in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kian Natanael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Argi was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 17th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Coporan to maneuver through the defense. Dark Prophets's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sabin Verzeanu in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Geronimo Argi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Champions Iasi's Daniele De Rossi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geronimo Argi. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. 30 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Nordstedt came free, but Ferdinand Joldea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dark Prophets's Bror Nordstedt in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Champions Iasi's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Cosmin Iureș got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Dark Prophets's Adriel Ba Loua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Joldea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ferdinand Joldea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Nordstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mai Ping Yi took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Joldea. Ferdinand Joldea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bror Nordstedt made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's Adriel Ba Loua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Joldea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferdinand Joldea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Ping Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriel Ba Loua in the 61st minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dark Prophets were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Champions Iasi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sabin Verzeanu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bror Nordstedt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ferdinand Joldea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 66 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Bror Nordstedt came free, but Ferdinand Joldea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Champions Iasi's Ferdinand Joldea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriel Ba Loua in the 68th minute of play. Daniele De Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Geronimo Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Champions Iasi got a corner. Dark Prophets's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kian Natanael ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Cosmin Iureș got a free kick in the 94th minute. With a little luck, Champions Iasi's Ferdinand Joldea got control of the ball when Sabin Verzeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Dark Prophets left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Champions Iasi.
